ALPHA COURSE
We are very excited to be offering ALPHA this Winter in 2 formats! There will be the option to do Alpha from home via group video chat or also live at Calvary Church!
WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is an introduction to Christianity that is designed to look at some of the predominant questions asked related to Jesus, Faith & the church.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Alpha is for literally anyone who is curious about what Christians believe and why they believe it. You do not need to be a part of the church or have any specific beliefs. The discussions are not in a format where you will be grilled on your beliefs, but it does talk about Jesus and faith related matters. Perhaps you already believe in Jesus but have nagging questions about your faith. Perhaps you’ve never thought about faith much before. Whatever... Alpha is for everyone!
HOW WILL THIS WORK? TWO WAYS!
ONLINE - from 7-8pm, Wednesdays February 2 thru April 14 - a group video chat discussion will be facilitated. The link to the video material will be available in the week leading up to the discussion as well as a link to the video chat for Wednesdays. You’ll watch the Alpha Course video in advance in a time that works for you, and then on Wednesdays, group discussion 7-8pm you’ll have a chance to engage in questions and discussion about that weeks material.
LIVE - from 6:45-8:45pm Wednesdays February 2 thru April 14- the group will meet at the church in our Fireside Room at 6:45. A packaged takeout style dinner (Greek, Thai, Chinese, Indian, etc) that was ordered in advance will be waiting for you. We’ll share a socially distant dinner together, watch the Alpha Course video, do discussion and dessert afterwards. Everything will comply with current Health Ministry COVID-19 guidelines. The evening should wrap up in the 8:45 zone. No childcare available.

To register, we’ll need your name, email, phone number and whether you’re intending to do either online or live. From there, communicaitons will flow to make sure you get what you need. Hope you can join us and YES... you can bring a friend!
