The Miracles of Jesus series will explore Jesus’ absolute authority and power over the devil, sickness, nature, and even death, thereby confirming to all that He is indeed the Messiah and the Son of God. The miracles, as signs pointing to the deeper truth about Jesus, should cause us to place our faith in Him. As we begin our journey to Easter, we will recognize that the hope of the world did not rest on a few isolated miracles, but rather on the climatic miracle of Christ’s death and resurrection from the grave. Just when we think this life is all there is, miracles introduce us to another world—the spiritual reality of God’s presence, kingdom, love, and eternity! John 2:11 “What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.”
